wonderful stay near city center

excellent service friendly staff wide range
I found the location excellent for trips. breakfasts were good and plentiful with excellent service. all staff were friendly and helpful. I found everywhere clean. the pub had a great atmosphere and a wide range of beers.

breakfast choices helpful staff pleasant atmosphere
the breakfast choices were various. i especially enjoyed the delicious english breakfast, it included many options. the staff offered directions to local attractions, i found that helpful. the bar rooms had a pleasant atmosphere.
the ensuite was small with limited space for toiletries! this was inconvenient.

the room was a good size double room private bathroom. breakfast was great (i especially liked the eggs). the downstairs pub created a good atmosphere. it was very close to the city center.
the shower clean but had no hot water. the shower tray did not drain water adequately. carpets need a clean.

super stay, great value

helpful staff clean room delicious breakfast secure parking
i found the staff very helpful they assisted with parking upon arrival. my room was clean and had nice tea and coffee. the breakfast was delicious with gluten-free options available i really enjoyed it. free secure parking was a bonus for me that i really appreciated.
the traffic noise was noticeable i was in a room facing the front of the building but it didn't bother me too much

the hotel is near the barbican centre it is about a five minute walk. i found the city centre a comfortable 15 minute walk i was able to easily walk to supermarkets and restaurants.
